Portraits

Portraits need lighting to ensure they come out well, but which type of lighting is better?

Natural light with varying colour tones depending on the position of the sun, time of day and time of year but no real control over it or… Artificial light with adjustable settings, colour temperatures and interchangeable light fixtures, such as beauty dishes, honeycomb and colour gels I want to show the audience and potential client that I can use the lighting available to me to produce images that suit the individual needs of the client, and to show the difference between each type of lighting. I believe it's important to know which lighting to use and when, as if you use the wrong lighting the images may not turn out as expected.
